THE TRANSFORMATION

Hello Guys,
I was in my deep sleep flying in dreamland with my girl. A romantic ballet in air. No adjectives in the world to describe it. U cant ask for a better dream. All of a sudden the romantic background score started fading out with a huge sound.
What was that, "The crack of dawn"?. Nope, the sweet sound of my stupid alarm. Grrrrr..., I was completely irritated as I forgot to see my girl's face in the dream. Clueless as to how she would be, I slipped out of my bed kicking the alarm off. It was one of those unusual days when you can see me awake before sunrise. Refreshing with the cold water was just as sweet as the dream. A walk, an article from "FROZEN THOUGHTS", a cup of tea, my day could not have begun better.

My mom asked me to water the plants, but I dint want to snatch the beauty of 'DEW' from it. As I was feeling the dew, my pup was jumping over some piece of iron, which resembled a cycle's carrier to me. It was so happy playing with the carrier. How did it get it and from where?. I looked around and found a dull yellow shade under the stairs. Anxiety rolled over as I set to explore it. The first sight of the thing beneath the covers, deprived my power of speech temporarily. Well my readers, that was the sight of my old cycle standing as if it was untouched for decades.

The cycle which was my sole transport until papa bought the 'Kinetic Honda', was now the home of spiders and other insects. I was still dumbfounded, as the guilt of forgetting it, started troubling me. How and when did I become so mean?. I stood staring at it.

Soon I felt a tap at my back. A warm hand on my shoulders, brought me back to speed. It was my father. He said, "Forgetting the past is the worst sin you can do son. Its just like kicking the ladder after climbing up". His words made me feel even more guilty.I felt like crying as I kept watching the thing I loved twelve years ago.

This cycle has a interesting history. I had fought a war with my uncle to obtain it. He gifted it for my tenth birthday. Since then I ruled almost every corner of my colony, doing amazing stunts with it. My friends too loved my cycle as it had the unique design captivating everyone around.
The 'BSA TRIALBLAZER', tagged 'Born To Rule'.

I heard my cycle asking, "Have U forgot to love me?". I felt like being slapped. Its really hard to face this question from some one you loved so much in the past. I gathered my nerves to answer it. In the meantime my father brought the key to set it free. I touched my cycle for the first time in ten years. I was able to feel its thirst to have my hand on it. A strong blow of air from the vacuum cleaner helped it get rid of the webs built by the insects. Still it looked dull and lifeless.

Now I decided to get into action. I made a promise that I will bring my cycle back to life. A promise that made me work faster. As I started removing its parts for overhaul, I saw my cycle smile. May be 'it' felt being renewed.

Being an engineer I decided to repair it all by myself. Here again thanks to dad for his extensive collection of tools starting from the nuts, bolts, screw drivers to the hammer enabled driller. It dint take long to dismantle the parts. Almost every individual part of it seemed to have rusted. It was at this moment when I thought, I should not have left my cycle 'Rust In Peace'.

Servicing the parts and fixing it back was not a hard job to do, but the thought of obtaining my cycle back wasn't letting things be easy. I decided to give my cycle new shades, color that will make it be born again. Spraying the vibrant blue, with the forks in silver was my vision. I then handed over the parts that had to be painted, to the shop.

Almost 90% of the remaining parts had be to replaced. I bought two pairs of brake shoes, a pedal assembly, complete ball bearing set, hub and spokes for the rim's, a new chain, just like how parents buy all the accessories on the eve of their child's first day in school. Completing all the remaining work, I was waiting for the delivery of the parts I handed to paint.
This was the most interesting phase as my eyes were eagerly waiting to see the new face of my cycle.

It took one week for the cycle being delivered, as the metallic paint takes time to dry on. As soon as I received them, fitting it all once again commenced in a jiffy. I stood up to the promise I made, giving my cycle its life back. I knew I had done a good job by extending the life span of my beloved cycle and I am sure my readers will feel my heart's emotion after having a look at this photo.

Have you ever been through a complete "trans", or at least seen some one going through it. Well, all my life, I never knew what 'Transformation', actually meant. Did it mean 'an accepted change of personality' or 'a change enforced due to situations'. Confused as usual. But now after having learnt about it, I can say 'Transformation' is like converting a mineral to an ornament, with the taste of ore still in it.
Hope my cycle's transformation was well portrayed.

To my readers,
Life transforms itself frequently. Its with you guys to give it the right way to transform into. Hope you would have experienced one after reading this post.

Keep watching for more,

WHAT ARE U UP TO ?

Hello Guys,
Quite long since my previous post,
Its awful to be at home with an Offer Letter in hand. Every possible way to spend time, seems to have entered a 'Black Hole'. Even the Little Master's Century failed to raise my mood. Boredom at its best.

Only two things turn up. Either I have lost myself, or my perception of life has changed. Hard to dig out the actual reason.

I was called cheerful by almost everyone in college, but if those guys see me now, I am sure they will take their word back. A never-expected phase of life. Life is like travelling on a motor way with no turns.

I couldn't stop my tongue modulating the air as it asks God, " How long will this continue? ". Lots of similar questions keep my brain cells busy. That includes my father's usual-but-unusual question "What Are U Up To ?".

Quite interesting question, isn't it?. But the truth is, I had no solution to match it. Now I hear my readers saying, " 'HAD' no solution, does this mean u have found out ways to be busy". The answer is binary '1', I have.

It was really hard toil to pick a way that was both time consuming and interesting. Again thanks to my father, who brought a copy of the famous monthly magazine, the "FROZEN THOUGHTS" . The outer cover snatched my attention. Well organized, wonderful writings, and the tag "VOICE OF LOVE" stole my heart.

The last time I viewed it was way back in February 2005. I never had my own copy of 'FT' as it was quite expensive for me during school days, even a chance to rush through it every week at the library stood dependent on pure luck. As of now, I have learnt to save my pocket money for it.

How nice it feels to have a book, with which u are able to share feelings in a virtual duplex mode. A book unpacking your stress, similar to a good friend. A friend who stays with u, giving valuable thoughts which is vital for carving your future. A friend who always freshens the air around 'U', probably the air within 'U'.

Why am I speaking so much about it, Is it worth for your money?.
Well its an axiom, worth more than your money. The amount of professionalism incorporated, makes it "THE BEST" second to none. The good thing is, this magazine recognizes the soul and powers its capabilities.

Sometimes we earn a friend, a good one, just like a strike of lightning. 'Frozen Thoughts' has become one such good friend of mine. It has slowly started freezing its place in my heart. A new companion every month keeps me going the best way it can.

Thoughts are different from actions, but when they start synchronising, life feels better than ever.
Having an idea for an annual subscription, I am sure, I am gonna have a blast.

To my readers,
I hope I have found a friend, for You too.
Kill boredom in a better way,

Watch out for more,
